MPI is calling for nominations for this year’s MPI Award for a Significant Contribution to Food Safety. They are looking for nominations for an individual, a team, or an organisation who has made a significant improvement to food safety in New Zealand. This could include a development or improvement of a specific process or operation, and it could be for one particular sector or across a few sectors. Improvements in any of the following areas are of interest:-
- Science and research
- Equipment or processing technology
- Product or packaging development
- Industry best practice
- Building and maintaining a food safety culture (e.g. staff engagement processes and practices; educational or training
If this sounds like someone or an organisation you know then MPI’s Award for a Significant Contribution to Food Safety is a great opportunity to recognise and celebrate their work.
Nominations and entries are now being accepted until 5pm 24 May 2018.
