News Update – March 5th, 2015

Summit 2015, Rotorua – still a few places available
We are nearly booked out – so, if you have not yet registered to come along, do so now before capacity is reached!

Don’t forget your sparkling outfits for the GMP Pharmaceuticals Gala Dinner.

AGM Notices
Don’t forget to print off your voting form, fill it in and scan back to us or bring on the day! If you won’t be at the AGM itself, print off a proxy form and give your vote to another member.

Can’t wait to see you all there for an invigorating Summit. It will be World Happiness Day on Friday 20th – what better way to end a great few days together.

Survey Sector Report Launch, Auckland
This evening went really well with 80 members and associates registered to come along. Steven Joyce, Minister for Economic Development attended and mingled with the crowd – many people had a chance to talk to him about concerns around the lack of progress with the Bill and assistance for R&D and Export.

Thanks to Crowe Horwath who hosted this event for us and to Ian Skelton for his presentation of the Survey results. Don’t forget that on Friday morning 20 March we will be running a short presentation of the Survey at the Summit prior to the Friday Seminars.

We had quite a bit of publicity around the Survey results in NBR and in The Sunday Star Times. We are visiting a couple of politicians to press our case prior to the Summit so we hope to get some news about the progress of the Bill at the very least. Don’t forget you can access the whole report or just the key findings on our website http://www.naturalproductsnz.org/natural-products-nz-sector-survey-2014/
